Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Dodge Charger we'll be taking a look at and showing how to install the Rhino-Rack roof rack system. This is going to consist of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero crossbars, part number RRVA126B-2, the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series legs, part number RRRLKVA, and the fit kit for our roof rack system, part number DK298. Now keep in mind that our crossbars are also available in silver with part number RRVA126S-2.This roof rack system is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, or cargo boxes. It's going to free up space inside your vehicle and allow you to carry more passenger side as well as cargo.The aerodynamic shape of our bars as well as the leather strip on the inside is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag. If we remove our end cap you can see our weather strip, which can be removed, cut down, and replaced with channel-mounted accessories. On our end cap we have a plastic lock core right now. more

Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Dodge Charger

Today on our 2012 Dodge Charger we'll be test fitting the Yakima Round Bar Roof Racking System, part numbers y00409, y00699, y00683 and y00124. Now with our crossbars, towers, and Q-clips already assembled according to the instructions we'll begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of the vehicle. We'll measure from the first part of the glass to the first part of the tower.According the instructions this measurement is eight inches. We'll do this on both the passenger side and driver's side of the vehicle making sure that the pads will contour to the roof of our vehicle correctly. Once we've established this position onto our charger we'll turn the silver bolt on the inside of the tower and clamp down the black levers securing the front crossbar to the vehicle.We'll now set our rear crossbar onto the roof of our charger and measure our crossbar spread. The crossbar spread is the measurement from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the rear crossbar and this measurement is 32 inches. more

Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2007 Dodge Charger

Today on our 2007 Dodge Charger, we'll be testing the Yakima Round Crossbar Roof Racking System, Part Numbers Y00409, Y00699, Y00683 and Y00124. Now, with the roof rack already assembled, we'll go ahead and open the front driver side and passenger side door and set the front crossbar on to the vehicle. We will then check the Yakima fit guide for the included instructions to determine the measurement from the front part of the glass to the first part of the q tower. Our measurement is 8 inches. We'll measure the passenger side, first part of the glass to the first part of the tower, 8 inches then we'll move to the other side where we will do the same. We need to make sure that we get the crossbar perpendicular to the vehicle to ensure the tower gets a good fit to th vehicle. more

Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Dodge Charger

All right today on this 2012 Dodge Charger, we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Roof Rack System. We'll be using the Thule Square Load Bar, part number THLB58, part number TH480, the traverse flip pack and part number THKIT1604 Thule fit kit. Now we're going to start off our load bars already assembled according to instructions, so all we got to do is put them on the roof. We'll start with the front crossbar and open up the front doors and then place the bar onto the roof. To place the bar correctly, we'll measure from the edge of the windshield to the edge of the foot pack. I always go by the instructions, but on this particular test fit, we'll be using a measurement of eight and a quarter inches. more
